Shana is a pretty 12 yr. old Cocker Spaniel who weighs 22 lbs.  She came into rescue when her parents became unable to care for  her.  This Spaniel girl is very quiet and independent, and enjoys watching the world go by.  She is totally well behaved, and is a great leash walker and likes staying near her people.  Shana sleeps in the big bed, and gets along with dogs, cats and gentle children.  This Cocker Spaniel is happy, nicely house trained and fostering in the Northeast.

Finnegan is a 3 1/2 yr. old Shih Tzu who weighs 13 lbs.  He's a very calm and relaxed boy who likes staying close to his people.  He came into rescue when his family could no longer care for him.  Fin is becomming comfortable in his foster home, and would like a quiet place of his own.  This sweet Tzu boy is nicely house trained, and fostering in the Northeast.

Penny is a 4 yr. old Yorkshire Terrier who is a bundle of energy.  She loves to run and play with all of her furry foster siblings.  This pretty girl loves snuggling and sleeping in the big bed.  She weighs 8 lbs. and loves to race around and hide on her doggie bed.  Penny is working on house training, and would like a stay at home human.  This Yorkie girl is fostering in the Northeast.

Sissy is a 5 yr. old female Maltese who weighs 8 lbs.  She came into rescue from a breeding kennel, and is shy and timid when meeting new friends but soon warms up.  Sissy is a love bug once she feels comfortable.  She is fine with gentle children, cats and dogs and is puppy pad trained.  This pretty Maltese is fostering in the Northeast.

Theodore came into rescue from a breeding kennel and is discovering the joys of life.  This 3 yr. old 16 lb. Shih Tzu boy  is a bit apprehensive of people (particularly men) but each day he progresses and is learning to trust.  He is working on house training, and will need to continue his lessons.  He is happiest playing with other dogs, running around the kitchen table, chewing on bones and getting his belly scratched.  With a little TLC and patience Theodore is going to be the most amazing dog.  Give this little Shih Tzu a chance and he will be your loyal friend forever!  Theodore is fostering in Delaware, and would like a quiet adult home with another young dog to pal around with.

Max is an adorable 8 yr. old Shih Tzu boy who weighs 17 lbs.  He loves to be near his people and sleep in the big bed.  He enjoys leisurely walks and a quiet place to watch the world pass by.  This sweet boy is very well behaved and takes daily medication for his thyroid and heart, and cushings.  Max the Shih Tzu would like a fairly quiet home with someone who is at home most of the day.  He is fostering in the Northeast, and ready for his home.

Meet Rocky, a sweet little 8 yr. old Miniature Poodle. Rocky was a beloved pet his whole life, until his mother was no longer able to take care of him. Rocky is looking for an adult home with a parent who understands that he will need time to feel secure in his new situation. He is a healthy and active 9 lb. boy who is very good about house training. He absolutely loves to go for walks on the leash and play fetch with soft squeaky toys. He gets along with other pets and would be fine having another dog in the family, although he wouldn't mind being your one and only baby to spoil. If you are able to open your heart to this precious boy, he is packed and ready for travel. Rocky is fostering in the Northeast and loves to ride in the car.

Brandy the Shih Tzu girl is a real sweetheart!  She is 5 yrs. old and weighs 10 lbs. She came into rescue from a breeder, and was quite afraid at first.  Now she is much more confident and loves attention.  She would do well in just about any loving home, as she is great with children, other dogs and cats.  Brandy is beginning to understand house training, and will need to continue her lessons.  This pretty Shih Tzu is fostering in the Northeast, and ready for a home of her own.

Smokey is an energetic 2yr old grey & white 15 lb.  Lhasa Apso who just loves to play and show his puppyness!  Smokey loves the outdoors, walks, and car rides! Smokey listens extremely well knows the general commands and does them at a snap of the finger. Smokey waits his turn during feeding time and takes his treats gently. Smokey is housebroken but has the rarely occasional accident but does use the pee pads when necessary. Smokey is the most adorable that pictures do him no justice & will make you melt when he gives you "that" look! Being Smokey is still a puppy at heart he may not realize his puppy traits all the time so small children may be best at this time of his life. Smokey is a very big love bug and loves snuggling with you, he does like the big bed but doesn't mind sleeping with his fur brothers & sisters. Smokey would be in heaven with a fur sibling to spend time with and play, play, play! Smokey is fostering in NJ.

Daisy is a 13 yr. old  20 lb. female fawn Pug who is very sweet, loving and cuddly.  She is a true 'shadow' girl who follows her foster mother everywhere.  She is a delicate little lady who eats slowly and walks a little unsteady and needs a home with someone who is either home often or works from home.  Daisy loves to be carried, and after a minute in her foster mother's arms, she will simply fall asleep.  She gets along well with other dogs but does not like birds at all!  Daisy is nicely house trained, and has been placed on an all raw primal lamb diet with foods that are soft for her to chew.  Like a true Pug she also loves warm soft surfaces and prefers to sleep in bed with her people, and will tell you when it is time to put her in bed!  Daisy is an excellently behaved little lady and will be best suited for someone who understands her slower pace and need for extra love during these senior years.  Daisy the sweet Pug is fostering in New England.

Ming is a 12 yr. old  male Shih Tzu who likes to play and collect toys in a special place.  This adorable 15 lb.pup has lost most of his hearing and vision, and has been enjoying assistance from his furry foster siblings.  Ming has warmed up to loving and cuddling, and enjoys sunning himself in the fenced yard.  He does well with most passive small dogs, and is still learning to be comfortable with men.  This little guy has allergies and eats a grain free diet.  Ming's ideal home would be with a person who is home and has the time to give him the special care he needs.  He would also like a gentle fursibling who can help show him the way.  Ming the very special Shih Tzu senior is fostering in North Carolina.

Noelle is a 12 lb female Shih Tzu who is about 5 years old. This pretty girls is blind, but has quickly learned the layout of her foster home.  Noelle the Shih Tzu girl walks slowly and will turn directions if you say the word "watch".  She is very sweet and loves to set in your lap. This Shih Tzu girl is also housetrained.  She requires a stay at home mom or dad, prefers to be an only pet unless they are laid back, and no stairs in the house.  If there are stairs going out side, you would have to carry her out.  Noelle is awaiting her own home and will travel to wherever that home may be.  This Shih Tzu princess is currently being fostered in northern Florida.

Smokey is a very quiet, well behaved 4 year old 14 lb. Shih Tzu. Smokey enjoys being outside running in the yard, and is learning how to play with his furry siblings. He also likes to sit off to the side and just watch the world go by. Smokey came into rescue from a breeder, and is learning to potty outside and run & play like all the other dogs. He would do best in a home with another pup to help teach him the ways of the world, A home with a fenced yard and a stay at home human who can continue working with him on housetraining and social skills would be ideal. Smokey the handsome Shih Tzu is fostering in the Northeast.

Meet Miss Becky, a beautiful 8 year old Peke is looking for someone to love. This beautiful , 19 lb princess is healthy and happy with beautiful, shiney, black, absolutely luxurious hair and big brown eyes. She is very sweet and loving and is good with other dogs and kids and cats. Miss Becky loves tummy rubs, walks on the beach, sunsets, and snuggling (Oh wait - that's me).  She walks great on a leash and loves to sleep in bed with her people. Miss Becky uses the doggy door freely but has to be cajoled to go outside and step on the grass (eeewww). Beautiful Becky would make a wonderful addition to a family who would give her all the love and attention she so very much seeks out. She hates getting her picture taken because the flash scares her but she is very pretty in a toothy sort of way and just had her prominent pearly whites buffed and polished. Miss Becky the Pekingese is fostering in NE Florida.

Sugar is a very sweet Shih Tzu girl who is 5 years old, and loves to play with her toys.  She will gather them up and take them to her bed.  Sugar loves to play dress-up too!  She is mostly housetrained, and enjoys meal time very much. She has one cataract maybe two, but the vet said that she can see but it does effect her vision from side to side.  You have to throw the toys right where she can see them. She is great with older children and doesn't mind small gentle ones either.  She doesn't jump up or down, but has jumped from a very low sofa.  Sugar loves to go by-by in the car.  She does NOT like a leash, and so needs a fenced yard.  She sleeps very well at night and will sleep anywhere.  She will "talk" when the doorbell rings.  This pretty Shih Tzu girl is fostering in the Southeast.

Buddy is a 7 year old, 13 pound Maltese who does indeed want to be your best buddy! He is a sweet, quiet boy who is nicely housetrained and very easy going. Buddy gets along with everyone - humans and dogs alike. He walks wonderfully on a leash and rides beautifully in the car. Mostly, Buddy just wants to be loved and cuddled. He loves sleeping on the "big bed" and will follow you around like he's your shadow. This sweet, gentle Maltese boy is fostering in the northeast.

Cookie is a very cute and handsome 4 year old black and white Shih Tzu who weighs about 18 lbs. He is very timid when meeting men but with patience he does fine and warms up quickly.
